The cavalier in white Book

A new author and a whole new mystery series ' I enjoyed this and hope that the books that follow are even stronger. I'm not entirely sure that I like Joanna Stark, and the mystery wasn't that mysterious, but it still was a good book to read.

Stark is a former security consultant for museums who has fled San Francisco following the death of her husband. She has created a simple, straight forward if a bit lonely life for herself in Sonoma until she is called back to her old life, tracking down a stolen painting.

But this time it has a strange twist ' the crime seems to be connected to friends of hers. Clues are sketchy and misleading but she still follows her gut instinct and in the meantime comes to review her past and her future. Can she solve the mystery and begin to live a life worth living?
