The World's Greatest Knock-Knock Jokes for Kids Book

I have never been all that enamored with knock-knock jokes. This statement alone would make one think that I would never read an entire book of entirely knock-knock jokes. But I did and here are my thoughts: I enjoyed it about as much as you would expect. Some of the jokes, I will readily admit, were actually funny and did elicit a chuckle at most. However, these jokes were few and far between. Most of the jokes were, as the title does say, for kids. I am not a child, and as such do not have the sense of humor as one. Because of this, this book, while not difficult or bad to read, was rather boring. Throughout the reading process I noticed myself checking how many pages there were until the end countless times, to the extent where I probably checked once per every 5-10 pages. In all, this would be a great book for a Kindergarten teacher to have on her desk to read at the start of class, but little else. The only reason this isn't a 1 star is because I didn't hate it, but I have no reason to enjoy it by any means.
