I found this book a mine of information. It covers in detail the things you don’t find in the usual narrative histories. It was easy to read although there were a few strange phrases maybe the result of the translation? It has been criticised for having a pro-Russian bias but I didn’t notice anything too outrageous in this department; however I am no expert! But if you are interested in details of the organisation of the Russian army of the time this book is first class.
