Although this book was written over 20 years ago, it still is relevant for discussion today. We still have the same concerns about what makes a good martial artist, how to find a good instructor, issues with titles, etc. I plan on using this book with an experienced martial arts discussion group. Most of the topics are applicable to any martial art, not just Kung-Fu. While most of the topics are geared toward folks who have been training more than 5 or 10 years, there are chapters that anyone would enjoy reading and thinking about.
