"When we confess God's word out loud, the angels hear it and go to work for us,' says Joyce Meyer in the introduction to this useful little book. "The angels are not activated by out complaining, murmuring, doubting and unbelief."
Anyone at all familiar with Joyce Meyer and her daily television program and her writings, knows that she preaches that Christianity is truly a gospel of good news and that God wants us to be happy and enjoy our lives.
This book has over 200 pages of scriptures categorized by topic, that, according to Joyce Meyer, will help reset our thinking to good an positive things as we speak them aloud.
There is actually some psychological basis for what Joyce says, since some therapists teach their patients to recognized negative, self-defeating thoughts and replace those thoughts with positive, affirming ones. What better positive, affirming thoughts and words can be found than those in the scriptures!?!
Having read the book once all the way through, I will not keep it handy and use it to replace negative, defeating thoughts with positive, uplifting ones.
