The PHP Programming with MySQL
I would give this book zero stars if possible. The text is outdated to the point that much of the PHP language in it is deprecated and is geared toward of/windows users. There are significant differences between using a WAMP and MAMP server, including installation and set up and default settings/changing default settings. This makes learning the language even more difficult because you spend half the time fighting with your server.
Just don't use this book, there are better books out there.
