The German Army at Passchendaele Book

I guess this book is for the WW1 afficionado and not for the novice. Basically a lot of diary entries, letters and report passages which give insight in the battle from a German perspective and into the life of the German soldiers in the Passchendale battle. Very interesting but also a bit boring at times. I'd label this as recommended additional reading if you are really interested. Wouldn't recommend this as a starting point.
The most interesting thing of course is the fact that this is all from a German viewpoint. You don't get much of that in other books.
Sheldon has a whole series of these books and i might read another one day. For now, this one title was enough, i struggled a bit towards the end. I do think it's a good thing these books exist.
