This is a very informative book on how Allied bombings affected the Third Reich industry. It provides a good overview of the extremely important role coal played in German industry, the politics within the Allied command and the Third Reich government, as well as a general idea of the organization of the Deutsche Reichsbahn.
Unfortunately, despite the title of the book, I found the information on the railway operations and organization a bit too general. I would appreciate more details, for example, maps or charts showing which railroads/stations/marshaling yards were destroyed by Allied raids and which were still functioning.
