The Cold War at Home: The Red Scare in Pennsylvania, 1945-1960
An interesting read to gain a better perspective on the history of Pennsylvania. I found the focus on the interplay of religion and ethnicity in sentiments towards communism very interesting. The only downside is that it can be very dry at points, and there are a few times when it feels like the author has repeated the same point several times already.
