Interesting take on American history (that is, through the lens of hemp and marijuana use, abuse, and prohibition). However, the narrative can't help but avoid bias against conservative politics and especially cannabis regulation and legislation. There are numerous typos in this text and some sections even appear twice with only slightly different wording.

In sum, I think this book is a very interesting, quick read. It is informative and and unique historical perspective, but questionable claims, unfair bias, and numerous typographical errors bring down its credibility.
