The former Dallas stars offer up a hilarious collection of stories and memories spanning nearly two decades of Cowboys history, from the "Dirty Dozen" to the "Doomsday Defense."

Cliff Harris's and Charlie Waters's Tales from the Dallas Cowboys is a hilarious collection of stories and memories spanning nearly two decades of Cowboys history. Harris's and Waters's tales of the early 1970s contain stories about youth and experience. During that era, they played with youthful characters such as Duane Thomas, D.D. Lewis, Roger Staubach and seasoned veterans such as Walt Garrison, Leroy Jordan, Bob Lilly, Mike Ditka, Mel Renfro, Cornell Green, Craig Morton and Bob Hayes. The late 1970s saw the likes of the "Dirty Dozen" 1975 draft and the early 1980s transition to a new "Doomsday Defense." Waters's Cowboys were "America's Team." They had a legendary coach in Tom Landry and could be counted on for big wins.
