The author starts with an unsourced history of Tae Kwon Do which correctly points out the link with Japanese karate, but has some dubious claims when it comes to the details of that history.

Why he put in a history of Brazilian jujitsu is beyond me. No BJJ stylist would find any credibility in his techniques.

Nor, as a Tae Kwon Do teacher, do I. The interpretations of the forms are implausible, improbable and often impossible...and usually downright silly. More often than not the interpretation looks nothing like the form. The techniques would hardly work...and why are nearly all of them used against grabs? The author states early in that the supposed self defense techniques of the forms were designed to be initiated off of a block of a received strike.

Clearly this is the product of a none too fertile imagination by an instructor trying'and failing'to validate his forms.

Iain Abernethy does a far better job.

But this work? Forget it.
