Powerful picture book based on a young man's real struggles with city life and being in and out of a gang. Written from the perspective of his young brother, who uses his imagination to transform their city life. I think this would be an excellent book to share with students when these issues arise in their family. There is a huge element of community in this book, and would be helpful to show students the power of this when times are rough.
