Soul Sex: Tantra for Two
Something about the way this book is written seems to date it as older than it actually is, although maybe it's simply because of the terrible font choices used throughout.
There's some interesting details on Tantric practices, which are interesting to learn about, but overall it's a pretty straight forward book about sexuality and spirituality. I can do without the spiritual stuff, but the main message still carries through - the desire for equality, mutual respect and admiration and effective communication.
Basically it's an argument for men and women to stop being so precious about their sexualities and to simply have fun with sex for the enjoyable experience it is.
Unfortunately the sexual revolution of the 60s didn't really cure either gender's apprehensions and assumptions about sex and it's still a norm to think that men are responsible and women are passive. Personally, I loathe this mentality and even though I expected it, this book reassured me and reminded me why the power imbalance of sex frustrates me so.
It's no revelation, but there are some interesting bits here and there.
