Skippyjon Jones is a little Siamese cat with a great big imagination. In this book, he has imaginary adventures in Mexico, fighting Afredo Buzzito, the Bumlebeeto Bandito. This is a fun little book, which is fun read with a Spanish accent during the part when Skippyjon is in Mexico. The little songs are cute, too.
I enjoyed this book. Until now, I'd never read any Skippyjon Jones books. I enjoyed the story, the wording and the colorful illustrations.
This book would be super to introduce 1st and 2nd graders to Spanish words, as there are several scattered throughout the story.
