With a great introduction from none other than Chris Crutcher, this quick read is a great tool for teachers in JH or HS facing possible book challenges. A wonderful synopsis of many of today's controversial books for young adults, complete with accompanying articles, reviews, awards and videos would be helpful to us when navigating rocky territory with vocal opponents. The states challenging/banning books are also listed (why is it Texas seems to head each book's list?) Written by none other than Dr. Lesesne herself.
