Rapanese Spanish Series 3: The Music& Comedy Method of Learning Spanish (2 Cassettes) Book

Series #1 and #2 should be listened to before attempting this tape. Wow, advanced Rapanese!! The pace is picking up. There's much more vocabulary, and even some grammar. With this "Spanish Series 3" tape we are using phrases (that you have already learned) to tell jokes and funny stories. If you listened to the first two series you won't even notice that Mike and Julissa are speaking in Spanish. Of course, there is more excellent music because that is our trademark and this is the best way to build an accent free vocabulary.

We believe that in the beginning you need to learn a few words very well, instead of many words partially learned. Repetition Without Boredom, That is Our Key.

In 1995 Mike had 65 students in his Spanish classes (Kelowna Secondary School, Kelowna, B.C. Canada). In 1996 he had 136 even though the syllabus explained that the class would be doing two years in one. The same thing happened when he taught Japanese in 1993. Mike D'Amours is Rapanese. It is as much his ideas as his talent as an entertainer and teacher that make it all work.

From 1989 to 1996 we made 12 tapes. After every tape Mike would say, "That's it Bob, we're done". And I would say, "Mike, I don't think so.
