Predestination and Free Will Book

Not so much of a big fan of this book. Really great for lay people to get to the issue of predestination and free will, but for those seeking more, it seems shallow. I found that Feinberg's and Geisler's exposition was undoubtedly the best. Feinberg was the most technical in language and presents arguments that hit to the point of the issue. Geisler's position was less clearly expounded, but nevertheless I found that Geisler's position (classical theism/thomism) is the most complex and yet, he reduced it down to simple, layman terms very well. I would recommend this book for those initiating to get to the surface of the debate. Yet, I highly doubt that this book alone suffices to give you enough (not even for laymen with no previous study of the subject). This book is far from presenting the tip of the iceberg, and after reading this book, further reading is highly advisable.

With regards to Bruce Reichenbach's and Clarck Pinnock's essay, I am highly disappointed for both of these. Reichenbach's lack of clarity and Pinnock's superficiality in his presentation struck me as surprising. Though not an open theist myself, I do think that Open Theism is much more substantial than what Pinnock is presenting.
