What makes this grammar stand out is that it not only describes in clear, understandable ways the grammar rules of Hawaiian, but also provides many "real world" examples of the rules and concepts described. It was also refreshing that the author would acknowledge when a rule was uncertain or needed further study. An indispensable book for anyone learning Hawaiian in depth.
