Small selection of astounding calligraphy by Croatian scribe Georg Bocskay accompanied by equally impressive illuminations by Flemish painter Joris Hoefnagel taken from the codex "Mira Calligraphiae Monumenta". A very short and small book with good introductory text. However the reproduced images are far far too small and resolution not high enough such that calligraphic detail is lost. 5 (content) - 2 (format) = 3 stars.
