North Carolina Wildlife Viewing Guide Book

Wildlife is nearer than you think. The secret is knowing where to look. From Cape Hatteras to the Great Smokies, the North Carolina Wildlife Viewing Guide will lead you to ninety of the state's premier wildlife viewing locations-and better your chances of seeing wildlife once you get there. Each site was selected by a panel of wildlife experts from conservation organizations and government agencies. Included are detailed descriptions of each viewing site, maps and access information, helpful viewing tips, and more than fifty color photos. This guide was created through a Watchable Wildlife partnership initiative coordinated by Defenders of Wildlife.
