New Quilts: Interpretations and Innovations Book

This features full color images and explanatory captions for the 82 quilts juried into Quilt National '89, the sixth in a series of biennial international competitions. Text and interesting comments by jurors Yvonne Porcella, Bernard Kester and Chris Wolf Edmonds support and explain the selections. The book also includes a retrospective of Quilt National's first decade. Color photographs of selected works from the earliest Quilt National exhibits demonstrate the variety of designs represented, and a most valuable index of all the artists and works from the past ten years completes this volume.
