Author Biography: Richard Petty, a legend in NASCAR Winston Cup racing, won over 200 races in 32 years driving on the NASCAR Winston Cup circuit. He won seven NASCAR championships, seven Daytona 500 victories, Winston Cup Series Rookie of the Year (1959) and 27 wins in one season (1967).
