Returned to this in the wake of #MeToo, the Kavanaugh controversy etc in the hope of getting a different insight, but was only moderately helped. There was some helpful exegesis and the appendix has a number of resources that might be helpful in supporting bruised and broken individuals regardless of their gender or cause of their pain, however it seemed a little shallow to me... but then it is only a slim volume and I was reading it through privileged white male eyes from across the Atlantic, so perhaps I am not the intended audience.
