Mla International Bibliography of Books and Articles on the Modern Languages and Literature ... Book

It has been a great difficulty to find a history book similar to Susan Bauer’s works that runs from the late 15th century to today. I tried The History of the World by JM Roberts, but this book seemed to cover broad themes, and I’m looking for “what happened when” mixed with less exhaustive rhetoric. This book was entirely Eurocentric, but I decided that was okay because I had to get the history from somewhere, and I decided a textbook was the best place. It did a good job giving me European history up to 1815, which I now feel like I have a good grasp of. I wished it kept going. Probably 3.5 stars.
