Make-Over Marriage Book

Unusual details: Heroine is the mother of 10 year-old triplets. She is a stage mom and has them modeling children's clothes. Got pregnant when she was 17 and had shotgun wedding with older (5 years) hero. Hero wants to move to the country and give the girls a more rounded life. Heroine is resistant. Goes to lunch with hero and in the ladies room overhears two women talking about how fat she is and how one of them is going to make a play for the hero. This shakes her up, obv. But hero tells her he's leaving for a month to help a family friend of whom the heroine has always been jealous.

Heroine decides to find herself by going on a diet. Some friends of the family (OM and his wife) convince her to write a diet book and take pictures of her in a leotard to show her progress. Hero is hung up in Romania with OW and Heroine finds herself a minor celebrity. When hero returns, he finds her drinking wine with OM and barely recognizes her with her makeover. He's jealous. At the launch party he leaves early and heroine has to share a ride back with OM. OM makes a pass, hero turns out to the be the uniformed chauffeur and decks him. HEA There's also an epilogue where they're in the country all is well - she's pregnant again. No word on her new career.

There were so many weird moments for me. Pregnant at 17 - nice hero. Stage mom? Completely transforming your body and getting a book written and launched and having your face on cereal boxes in six weeks? Not very believable. (hide spoiler)]
