Lord of the Necropolis
This is a book about a disembodied necromancer who lives inside a skeleton. He is so powerful he can project his mind far across the land to see what's going on. he lives in a magical tower full of secrets and mysteries. far away there is an uppity vampire lord who needs to learn his place. and the whole realm is surrounded in thick fog that no one can traverse. So everyone's trapped in this evil grey realm, and noone wants to be there. Very cool stuff to imagine about as a kid, I loved this.
