Living High and Letting Die
The book has such great content but was discussed in a manner that was unnecessarily difficult to follow. I can't quite put m finger on what it was, aside from perhaps the general style of Unger. His thought experiments are powerful, and they are fascinating to ruminate on if the 'demandingness' of ethics in the world we find ourselves in is not something you've previously confronted. The message of this book is so important, but as I think is recognized at the end of the book, it requires popularizers like Singer to spread the message to broader society.
