Lippincott's Magazine of Popular Literature and Science Volume 17, No. 101, May, 1876 Book

My first class for becoming a media specialist starts Monday, but I'm such a dork I started reading the textbook as soon as it arrived. I haven't read a college textbook in 8 years, so this seems pretty dry. Hope the class is more interesting!

Even though the book is only two years old, many of the recommended links did not work. Even more disturbing is that many of the website URLs had misprints (for example: .eud instead of .edu). If I'm going to pay so much money for a textbook, I expect accurate information.

The book often brought up issues which may be problematic for librarians but it did not offer any possible solutions. I do not see myself referring back to this book very often at all.
