Journeyman: Travels with a Writer Book

This is a collection of articles, speeches and journal entries on the subject of travel. Although Findley did not like to travel, he actually did a great deal of it and much of it influenced his writing.
The book has a four part structure. First are the trips he has taken by land, water and air. The second section covers excursions into the past through his memory and into the future through speculation or his imagination. The third section covers journeys within the writing community, its people, the tools they use and especially censorship and prejudice. It closes with the fourth section which covers the world of the theater, with its plays, playwrights and actors.
