You have three best friends, Kari, Lisa, and Sicily who are written and described so well that you feel like they are your friends.Sicily is the serious one, Lisa is the crazy loud one, and Kari is somewhere in between the two. This story starts out by Kari getting her heart broken and deciding to move from New York to Maine with her friends. Now add in the hot Coach Jake Isaac and you have a great second chance love story"

"I really enjoyed Jaded by Ali Parker. It was my first read by this author and I wasn't disappointed. I felt like Kari and Jake had a lot of chemistry. I hate when I read a romance and there is a disconnect between the characters.I don't want to spoil anything that happens in the book for anyone though so I won't tell you about some of the things that I loved about this book. I can't wait to read the other books in the series! I recommend this book to anyone who loves romances and characters who want a second chance at love."

Jake had been cheated on 3 years ago and had difficulty trusting any woman since then.
