Investing in Mortgage Securities: Risks and Rewards for Banks Book

I'm an American who made a job-related move to Canada for about six years. The cross-border tax laws are complicated…I always cringed a little when my fellow ex-pats let H&R block do their cross-border returns.

This book won't make you an expert on the topic - I highly recommend consulting professionals with cross-border experience (hard to find, btw) - but it will provide you some basic knowledge of the issues you face financially and allow you to ask the right questions of your consultant.
This book was a great resource during my time in Canada as well as post-Canada when I had some rather big financial decisions to make regarding my Canadian assets.
