India remembered Book

Nye's anthology is so good that it's unfair to other poetry anthologies. The formula seems simple: skim the cream from 100 years of Mexican writing, choose images that will appeal to all ages, place Spanish and English text side by side, and finish with beautiful, thought-provoking artwork. You can't throw a brick in this book without hitting a classic image or turn of phrase. Here's a random sample:
