In the distance, and ahead in time Book

Very thought-provoking stories for the most part. There's a certain feeling to all of the pieces presented: a quiet, calm, but slightly heartbroken aspect that I really enjoyed. A few could definitely have been full-length. Only one story I couldn't make it through simply because it was so incredibly bizarre and difficult for me to wrap my head around. It seemed too purposefully unapproachable so I skipped it. Otherwise, I very much enjoyed this collection and now want to read some more of Zebrowski's work.
