I'm Just a DJ But... It Makes Sense to Me Book

I bought this book thinking it was going to be inspirational and fun. I understand Joyner claims not to care what white people think (over and over again) but I am going to add my two cents because he would if a white person wrote something this insulting about black people.

I wasn't offended by the fact the book is for people of color but I do feel he should have been as clear about that on the cover as he is throughout. He doesn't like white people. At all. But you don't learn this until after you start reading. Too late at this point. It dawned on me he probably wasn't clear about a target audience because everyone's money is green. Even the "white men who are always tearing blacks down."
It was strange to read about a person who preaches about equality and stereotypes while so clearly discriminating against a race himself.
He claims to want the "unfair image that whites have superimposed on blacks" to end. He is preaching tolerance while showing zero of his own.
And throughout the entirety of the book, he demands respect without giving any.
Tom can laugh all the way to the bank w the .50 cents I paid for this in the reject bin at Big Lots.
So far it has multitasked as a coaster and then kindling for my woodstove. So I guess I got my .50 worth.
