Hiking the Southwest's Geology
A very well written and informative book. The division of the book into geological areas is handled well and clear and makes reading the book much easier and more user friendly. Each hike is based on obtaining the best views of the landscape and details what will be seen and the background as to why these features are present and how they were formed. The text is greatly enhanced by the photography, which illustrates each feature in stunning detail.
