Good mothers and other mothers Book

I was in the mom memoir mode when I read this. I recall that I had expectations for the book to be better than it was. The book jacket and the topic sucked me in, but I wasn't completely satisfied. If I am remembering correctly, the stay-at-home mom vs. working mom argument rubbed me the wrong way. Why does there even have to be an argument on the subject? Everybody's situation is different. My favorite memoirs on this topic of child birth and early childhood were written by Jenny McCarthy. Maybe I shouldn't compare, but Jenny's book on her pregnancy saved me when I really needed to stop freaking out and take a deep breath.
