Newly updated Third Edition. This is volume one of a three-volume set, and the vast story dispels fears about December 2012 and the ongoing decades thereafter. Humans have a long and glorious past. The true history of civilization differs greatly from the tidy, orthodox tale taught in school. There is an unseen reason for the growth of websites proclaiming that "everything you know is wrong." In some respects, this is true. The real story of our human past is a hidden one. And no single source holds a complete mural of it. Rather, the truth is concealed in many places — like precious fragments of a broken mirror. These are embedded in myths, legends, ancient monuments, and geologic features. And threads also are dispersed amongst spiritual or esoteric groups like tattered shreds of a magnificent tapestry. Likewise, secret societies steward many portions of lore. Thriller novels and conspiracy theorists have focused on these. In truth, humans are a species with amnesia. For centuries, we have been living in the fifth epoch of an expanding spiral of solar time. In the previous 4th Age, a high civilisation arose on Antarctica that fused science and spirituality. Its breadth and depth of wisdom are nearly beyond any modern grasp. That society was called Antichthones by Pythagoras and referred to as Atlantis by Plato and various others. Climate regions differed then because the Earth's crust was positioned differently in those times. But the previous era ended in a series of global disasters, as our world shifted from the 4th to the 5th Age of the Sun. It was a period of distress and massive suffering. The Earth's crust was abruptly displaced, which brought massive deaths and sudden climate zone changes as the so-called "Ice Age" ended. The few surviving humans contracted into a state of deep fear. Diverse local groups have their own version of a great cataclysm in the "distant", dimly remembered past. For example, recall Noah's Flood, the Epic of Gilgamesh, or the Time When the Sky Fell. We are now in the final twilight of the 5th Age. The 21st of December 2012 is simply a marker for a Turning of solar Ages... an event horizon for humanity. That date has long been foreseen as ushering in the 6th epoch of the Sun. And, at last, it signals humanity's opportunity to transit Ages with grace and ease. As Marilyn Ferguson said: "Our past is not our potential." Readers are welcome to take this version of the World's true history lightly. And to do so as they activate their own, fail-safe capacity for inner knowing. The Greeks called this "Gnosis" — hence, the first word of the title. GNOSIS for 2012 Onward describes all the above and much more in readable detail and provides background on ancient 'magic' and practices from a nonreligious perspective. Many key tools have been steadily recovered. And these will be available to interested readers in follow up materials at low cost from the publishers. The author was trained as a scientist and a shaman, gathering information over 40 years for scholars and seekers. So fasten your seat belt for a astonishing tale. Are you ready for a true History of the World? For the real story about 2012? And what lies ahead as each of us moves onward?
