Ok, whoever wrote this was a spaz, but a very thorough, very educated spaz who was quite aware of the strategic triangle between China, US, and Russia, even at the close of the Cold War. (books written within the last 20 years have been a little bit more clear on the subject, but while this book is dated, it remains relavent.)
