Today's youthful, unemployed, politically/academically overwhelmed underachievers have serious complaints about things which impact their existence—including the rising costs of hanging out. Author Janet Couch is a playwright, free-lance writer, part-time life insurance professional and was, formerly, an elementary school teacher, stand-up comedienne, FM radio station DJ, NYS psychiatric center news journalist/editor and insomniac. She graduated Carnegie Mellon with a BFA but never became a flower child. She has spawned two Gener-K'ers who hang out in her living room with their friends and give her solid advice.
