Today's youthful, unemployed, politically/academically overwhelmed underachievers have serious complaints about things which impact their existence—including the rising costs of hanging out. They may transcend their apathy through outrageous infantile diversions such as frisbee or the ouija board or, perhaps, dropping out of grad school to hike the entire Appalachian trail on foot. But this is their way of coping—with the legacy passed down from the generation who begat them in VW vans.

Generation K: the Kvechies provides the comic relief necessary for survival. Many tomes explore the sociological Q's & A's of the 90's hopeless, hapless youth. But, somewhere between the intro and afterward of life, there is the laughter cause. This book explores only that.

Author Janet Couch is a playwright, free-lance writer, part-time life insurance professional and was, formerly, an elementary school teacher, stand-up comedienne, FM radio station DJ, NYS psychiatric center news journalist/editor and insomniac. She graduated Carnegie Mellon with a BFA but never became a flower child. She has spawned two Gener-K'ers who hang out in her living room with their friends and give her solid advice. Ms. Couch sincerely hopes you will order this book, which was produced on a shoestring budget, so she can proceed with her next literary effort which will focus on either the humorous side of polygamy or the spirit world.
