From a distance Book

This is the third book in this series of the Harvey's of Hannaford in Cornwall.

Because of storm damage Alec Harvey is seriously injured in an accident, afterwards he becomes very melancholy and does not quite recover. He has never gotten over the death of his baby daughter Jenna and because of this and the fact that his daughter Lottie wants to be a tomboy he has trouble relating to her and this causes a rift between Alec and Emilia.

Ben is still married to his American bride Brooke but they are having difficulties in their marriage, it does not help that Ben is still in love with Emilia.

Perry Bosweld has been reading between the lines of notes he received recently from Emilia so he and his daughter Libby come back to be near Truro to be near Emilia in case she needs him but this also brings back his spiteful sister Selina.

Perry and Emilia are very much in love but she would never leave Alec to be with Perry, but because of this she cannot give her all to Alec and he needs it right now.

Tristan is still happily married to Winifred and Jonny has grown up and is now at Oxford. It is good to keep up with other people who live in the area are part of the life of the Harvey's.

This book was another great addition to this series, it was sad it was happy and I so look forward to the next book in the series. I find when I am reading the books in this series I find it hard to put them down. I could not recommend them highly enough. The other books are, Touch of Silence, Moments in Time, A Stranger Light, A Whisper of Life.
