Frogs & French kisses Book

[Even though I 100% knew someone was going to save the auction, I was still extremely pumped and almost teared up (I am confused about this too) when Jennifer bought the bag for $2000, specifically because it was her who did it. I was so proud of my girl Jennifer for saving the day. That was the best part of the book for me.

Also, while we're here in this spoiler tag, let me say a few words on the romance. Rachel and I were very much on the same page here: Will is a great guy, we want to like him, but in the end our affections remain with Raf. Honestly though, since we don't actually know all that much about Raf, I'm pretty sure the only reason I like him more is because he has a cool name. Rafael. Exotic. Love it. Don't give me any weird looks, because honestly that's probably all Rachel is riding on as well. I mean, sure, he's nice or whatever, but that's literally nothing. We don't really know him at all. Which… From a literary and critical standpoint I should mind… But I don't… Because he has a cool name. Okay, now I think I deserve your disapproving looks.

And, one last thing: I'll be surprised if Rachel actually got her powers at the end of this book! From what I remember of book 4, it seemed like she was still super new to her powers. So if she really did just awaken them, I wonder how small the time frame for the next book must be for her to really not learn much during it. I'm guessing that the next book must be during camp, which lasts what, 2 weeks? If so then I guess it makes sense that she won't be able to have any witch lessons during that time so she'll remain pretty unknowledgable. In that case I'm excited to see what happens during camp and what she does with her new powers! No more love spells, please. (hide spoiler)]
