Extraordinary Encounters with God
Aaaack! The author (though he has done good and valuable work for the cause of Christian education), perpetuates myths and legends about the early church and the middle ages. He is entirely Baptistic in his theology (nothing really good happened in the Church before the Reformation). He also relies on severely out-dated secondary works of history. I appreciate his effort, but future generations of Christian scholars need to tell this story over again.
