Evolution Book

The second edition of this widely used textbook brings together prevailing knowledge and ideas about evolution and provides an informed evolutionary framework of thought for undergraduates. The orientation of the text is based on the concept that evolution is a historical science in every sense of the word. Evolution is defined completely: from its concern with the history of the physical and chemical events that led up to organisms on earth to its exploration of the historically coded genetic information that connects organisms to events in the past.
