Emerging Perspectives On The Black Diaspora
I assigned chapters from this to my women's history class and we had great conversations. I would say as a teacher that the chapters are very uneven. Some of them require graduate level understandings of theory, so vetting is required. But the range of approaches to history and the diversity of women in terms of class and ethnicity is super helpful in adding to general textbooks which might not be able to "hit" all the diversity in a traditional narrative form.
