Driving me crazy Book

This was a fun and uplifting romance story that I read on the plane going and coming from Costa Rica. Author Maggie Dufrane, who has a sassy, independent mother, had just moved out on her own, leaving a marriage in which she was regularly suppressed by her husband's rigidity. As a result, her writing productivity had begun to show a lack of creativity, too. In this book, she, married sister Jean who lives near Mama, and Mama herself were shocked to learn that Mama had an illness that wouldn't leave her long to live. She was given seven years tops. As events unfold in a story that easily could have become a doleful one, Mama's love of life takes hold and becomes a celebration.

It's light and it's fluffy, but not so syrupy that it sticks in your throat.
