About the Author
Harold Hansen is a military veteran, former public high school teacher, entrepreneur and dog trainer. He has been teaching individuals and families how to enjoy and train their dogs for more than 22 years. When he became a stepfather, he began to apply his dog-training techniques in his home life, with rewarding results. His focus is on improving relationships, rather than teaching skills or tricks. Many of his clients over the years have asked him, "Does this work with kids, too?" The answer is a resounding, "Yes!" He resides in Eugene, Oregon, where he and his wife have raised two stepchildren.
