Design Engineering Technical Conferences and Computers and Information in Engineering Confer... Book

I won't pretend to have understood all of the arguments in this book, many of which are quite detailed against certain prevailing philosophers of the day. While I do think that Dabney often engages in arguments that seem to be outdated and in arguments against somewhat obscure philosophical schools of thought, yet even so I greatly enjoyed reading his treatment of sensualistic philosophy (by which he means philosophy or a world-view that is strictly based upon the senses).

This is especially useful when so much of today's world-view is geared toward a science that is strictly based upon naturalism or things that can be measured only by the senses, and that presuppose only natural causes. I think Dabney adequately showed the foolishness of such an assumption and defending the Christian position against these purely sensualistic philosophers. So I really did enjoy this book even if I did not grasp all that he was arguing all the time.
