Delmar's Integrative Herb Guide for Nurses Book

A total must for people who are interested, whether for healing purposes or getting an amazing energy body high. The boys at the Erewhon Tonic Bar turned me on to this book and I am learning so much and really feeling the effects of the shen tonics, the reishi, the shizandra. I mean these herbs will change your life--they are so healing for your energy and body and mood and emotion and feeling and well, everything. I've been really into tea for a long time--all the different types, the different highs you feel from the oolongs and pu-ers, and whites and greens, etc. And I've been really into chocolate, all the high-end brands and where they've sourced the beans from--the different effects each type of chocolate gives you (my favorite is still kallari). So it's only natural I want to feel into and know all the Chinese herbs, and the effects and ways in which they give your body subtle highs, healing and energizing adaptogens--even just taking reishi is a wonderful enhancement to life. And by mixing the tonics with coconut oil and toffee stevia, blending in the vitamix on high with some hot water thrown in, the coconut oil froths into something milky and the result is this delicious energizing tea-tonic drink thing that gets you in a whole other disposition. Try it, friends! I'm telling you, it's sort of amazing.
