Comprehensive, insightful, and enormously helpful, this book contains the single best sloper method I have ever encountered (no slash & rotate darts for the basic block here, folks!). It also has an enormously helpful section on fitting the basic block with all kinds of common fit problems and how to compensate for them. Also a small selection of beautiful color photos and fun "extras" like a section on wig-making, costume construction, period hat styles, etc.
My only caution is that the basic block in this book contains 0 ease. This is good for some applications (possibly developing a knitwear block? I haven't explored this) and historical styles, but it can be problematic during the fitting process, especially since the average person's measurements vary slightly during the day...I would combine this drafting method with Connie-Amaden's rules for small amounts of ease in the basic block to generate the best result.
